Abstract: Handeliodendron Rehder, a monotypic genus of Sapindaceae was found in the field investigation of the fourth national survey on Chinese materia medica resources in Funing County, Yunnan Province. According to the specimen and literature in Chinese Virtual Herbarium, Handeliodendron bodinieri mainly distributed in Guangxi and Guizhou, newly recorded in Yunnan. The genus includes only 1 species, named H.bodinieri and it was listed in the "first class national protected wild plants".
