Abstract:
The Gongjue County of Tibet was taken as the research area, while the forest planning and design survey data in 2012 were collected as the main data source. Spatial auto-correlation analysis, semi-variance analysis and Kriging analysis of 10 major forest planning and design factors were conducted by using the powerful spatial analysis tools of GIS. The results showed that there existed an obvious spatial auto-correlation for the 10 factors, which present a spatial distribution pattern of aggregation; Semi-variance analysis showed that the spatial autocorrelation range of forest ecological function was the largest, while the unit stock volume was the smallest; The fact that the optimal semi-variance models of 10 investigated factors were mostly linear and exponential models was closely related with the terrain characteristics of the study area and the horizontal-vertical distribution of forest; Mainly influenced by various climatic factors and topography, the average diameter of breast height and volume of trees got the largest in eastern part of Gongjue County.
