Abstract:
The potted seedlings of
Chlorophytum comosum var.
variegatum as the experimental materials, effect of 2.0 mmol/L methyl orange, 1.0 mmol/L methyl violet and 1.0 mmol/L neutral red on the biomass, root shoot ratio, leaf surface coloring and plant carbon and nitrogen nutrition were studied. The results showed that the biomass of neutral red treatment was significantly greater than that of methyl orange and CK treatment; three coloring agent treatment, root shoot ratio decreased significantly, of which the largest decline in treatment was neutral red.
a*,
b* and
L* values increased gradually, while C value decreased,
H0 and CIRG value increased, and the leaves were pink on the surface after the treatment of three coloring agent. The contents of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, chlorophyll a + b and carotenoid decreased significantly. After 3 coloring agent treatments, the contents of soluble sugar starch decreased, the largest decline was methyl violet treatment; the soluble protein and total nitrogen showed a rising trend, and the neutral red treatment increased most; the carbon and nitrogen ratio decreased. Although staining had certain effects on plant carbon and nitrogen nutrition of
C.
comosum var.
variegatum Diaolan, but dyeing could improve the ornamental value of indoor cultivation.
