Abstract:
In order to reveal the behavior, habits, and activity regularity of
Matsucoccus sinensis adult and determine its appropriate sampling method among the forest, the spatial distribution and sampling techniques were studied by the aggregation indices, liner regression analysis and comparative frequency methods. The results showed that the adult had an aggregated spatial distribution pattern and was the negative binomial distribution. The theoretical sampling list with precision of 0.05, 0.10 and 0.20 could be calculated by the Iwao
m*-
m regression equation. The upper limit and lower limit of accumulated adult for 1, 2 and 4 adult per 10 cm topmost branches of the tree were 1 094 and 68, 735 and 46, 555 and 35 respectively.
