白尾梢虹雉与血雉卵壳显微结构比较

Comparison of Eggshell Ultrastructure Between Lophophorus sclateri and Ithaginis cruentus

  • 摘要: 对采自云南高黎贡山的白尾梢虹雉和血雉卵壳样品在扫描电镜下进行观察,对各层厚度、栅栏层蜂窝小孔直径和密度、内外壳膜纤维直径等8项特征进行测量和分析。结果表明:2种雉类的卵壳外壳膜纤维直径无显著差异,血雉蜂窝小孔直径和内壳膜纤维直径显著高于白尾梢虹雉(P<0.05),其余5项特征均为白尾梢虹雉显著高于血雉(P<0.05)。白尾梢虹雉的卵壳显著厚于血雉的卵壳(P<0.05),与白尾梢虹雉雌鸟的体重较大有关。白尾梢虹雉卵壳上蜂窝小孔的密度显著高于血雉(P<0.05),推测与白尾梢虹雉更多地运用飞行作为运动方式有关。

     

    Abstract: The eggshell samples of Lophophorus sclateri and Ithaginis cruentus which were collected from Mt. Gaoligong were examined by scanning electron microscope. Thickness of each layer, diameter and density of vesicular holes, width of membrane fiber and other 3 chareacters were measured and compared Results indicated that there was no significant difference in eggshell width of outer membrane fiber between two kinds of pheasant. Diameter of vesicular holes and width of inner membrane fiber of I.cruentus were significantly higher than L.sclateri (P < 0.05). The other 5 characters of L.sclateri were significantly higher than I.cruentus (P < 0.05). Eggshell thickness of L.sclateri were significantly higher than I.cruentus (P < 0.05) because of the greater weight of L.sclateri. The vesicular holes were more significantly densely distributed on the eggshell of L.sclateri (P < 0.05) that in accordance with its flying habit.
