Abstract:
A randomized block experiment was conducted to study the effects of 8 kinds of nursery substrates on the rooting and growth of
Alnus nepalensis after transplanting. Results showed that different seedling substrates significantly affected the rooting rate of cuttings. The rooting rate of T
1 and T
5 were significantly higher than those of other treatments, with a maximum of 34.44% for T
1 while there was no significant effect on the number of rooting of cuttings. The 8 kinds of nursery substrates significantly affected the new leaf germination, seedling height, and root growth 8 after transplanting, but the survival rate after transplanting was not significant, and T
1 was the most favorable for the growth after transplantation. The eight basic fertilizers significantly affected the survival rate, the new leaf germination, the seedling height, and the main root growth, and T
b was selected as the optimal base fertilizer.
