Abstract:
The finite element models of steel-wood composite beams based on bolted connections are established and analyzed qualitatively by numerical simulation to study the influence factors of bearing capacity of the beams. The results show that the diameter of the bolt has a great influence on the bearing capacity of composite beam, but the bolt spacing and the board thickness have little effect on it. The ultimate bearing capacity of the steel-wood composite beam is much better than that of the thin-walled steel beam while the bolt connection is reliable.
