Abstract:
In order to analyze phenotypic traits of needles of
Pinus yunnanensis for determining the phenotypic traits variations, the phenotypic traits of needles of
P.
yunnanensis in different selective cutting ways was compared. The results showed that there were extremely significant differences among and within populations. The coefficient of variance (CV) of the traits was 14.28%-22.04%, with an average of 17.83%. The mean coefficient of phenotypic differentiation among populations was 11.38%, which was lower than that within populations, indicating that the variance within population was the main source of the phenotypic variation of the species. The Shannon-Wiener′s diversity index was smaller differences among populations. The phenotypic diversity of needles of
P.
yunnanensis was less affected by selective cutting ways.
