Abstract:
Ten clones of
Pinus massoniana were established by the fine single plant from Tongmian provenance for tissue culture. The height and ground diameter growth of clones were measured and significant differences were analyzed with half a year
P.massoniana seedling. The selection index was constructed by weighting coefficient method, and all clones were comprehensively evaluated and selected preliminarily. The results showed that the height growth of clone seedlings was between 15.9-24.2 cm, the growth of the ground diameter was between 2.9-3.8 mm, the variation of phenotypic traits among clones was very rich. The difference of the height and ground diameter of the clones were very significant (
P < 0.01), the repeatability of height and ground diameter of clone seedlings were 0.96 and 0.91 respectively, and the growth traits were mainly controlled by heredity. According to the comprehensive evaluation analysis, PC2 and PC7 were selected, and the genetic gain of seedling height and ground diameter of selected clones were 15.16% and 13.33%, 10.35% and 5.04%, while the real gain were 15.79% and 13.88%, 11.44% and 5.57% respectively.
