Abstract:
One-year-old seedlings of
Horsfieldia glabra,
Horsfieldia kingii,
Horsfieldia pandurifolia and
Knema furfuracea were used as test materials. The seedling growth, leaf traits and photosynthetic characteristics were measured and compared. The results show that the seedling height and ground diameter of 4 plant seedlings reach a very significant level, and the seedling growth order is
Horsfieldia glabra>
Horsfieldia kingii>
Horsfieldia pandurifolia>
Knema furfuracea. The leaf length, leaf width, leaf area, leaf thickness, specific leaf area and leaf vein density of the four seedlings are significantly different among species, and the order of leaf area is
Horsfieldia kingii >
Horsfieldia pandurifolia >
Knema furfuracea >
Horsfieldia glabra. And Sorting by the specific leaf area, it is as
Horsfieldia pandurifolia >
Horsfieldia glabra >
Horsfieldia kingii >
Knema furfuracea.
Pnof
Horsfieldia kingii is significantly higher than that of the other 3 species,
Horsfieldia glabra and
Horsfieldia pandurifolia is similarly moderate and
Knema furfuracea is the lowest.
Knema furfuracea and
Horsfieldia glabra have higher LSP and lower LCP. And
Knema furfuracea also shows higher instantaneous WUE
i of indicating
Knema furfuracea has a wider range of environmental adaptation. Simultaneously,
Knema furfuracea shows lower corresponding net photosynthetic rate, less leaves and dwarfed growth.
Horsfieldia kingii and
Horsfieldia pandurifolia exhibit relatively lower LSP, higher (
Pn, max) and LCP as well as faster growth, but its has a narrow range of environmental adaptation.
