基于代谢组学分析技术的木材形成机理研究

Metabolic Profiling for Revealing the Mechanisms of Wood Formation

  • 摘要: 木材形成过程作为有机体的生命活动,其中细胞壁的生物合成必然包含了多种物质代谢与能量交换,但在代谢水平上对木材细胞壁构建过程的解析还不够清晰。研究人员已经在木材细胞发育、细胞壁化学成分等方面开展了卓有成效的研究,近年来又借助分子生物学技术,在基因水平、转录水平及蛋白质水平等方面探索了木材形成的生命过程。本研究从物质代谢的角度阐述了木材形成的基本过程,介绍了代谢组学技术分析方法,总结了代谢组学技术在木材形成研究中的应用,并提出了初步的思考与展望。期望为揭示木材形成的分子机制提供新的途径,进而为高品质木材的定向培育和木材功能性改良提供理论依据。

     

    Abstract: Wood formation, as an organic life activates, the multiple metabolisms and energy exchanges involved in wood cell wall biosynthesis. However, the knowledge of metabolism during wood cell wall building is limited. Over the years, many researchers have conducted fruitful studies on the development of wood cells and the cell wall chemical components. Since the 21st century, the process of wood formation has been explored at the gene level, transcription level and protein level based on the advance of molecular biology technology.This review gives a new insight to reveal wood formation on metabolic level and introduce the mainly metabolomics technology. In addition, the progresses of metabolomics technology in studies of wood formation and some preliminary thoughts are also mentioned. Understanding the molecular mechanism in wood formation not only benefiting for directive breeding of high quality wood species, but also is the foundation for wood functional modification and added-value utilized.
