Abstract:
In order to study the changes of biomass allocation of
Pinus yunnanensis at different seedling ages, a follow-up survey on the growth traits and biomass of various organs of
P. yunnanensis was conducted for 2−4 years, and the biomass allocation ratio and biomass ratio of each organ were compared. The results showed that with the increase of seedling age, the biomass of root, stem and leaf of
P. yunnanensis seedlings increased. There were significant differences in the biomass allocation of organs among
P. yunnanensis seedlings at different seedling ages. Among them, 2-year-old
P. yunnanensis seedlings allocated more biomass to leaves and less to roots. With the increase of seedling age, the order of preference for biomass allocation changed, and 4-year-old
P. yunnanensis seedlings had chosen to focus on stem growth.
