Abstract:
Using
Metasequoia glyptostroboides as base material to prepare parquet and comparing with the physical and chemical properties, thermal conductivity and acoustic properties of common multi-layer and three-layer parquet from the market. The results show that the moisture content of
M. glyptostroboides based three-layered parquet is 10.7%, the formaldehyde emission is 0.112 mg/m
3, and the impregnation and peeling index meets the requirements of national standards. The 3 types of parquet have different structures and tree species composition, and the thermal conductivity is quite different. The thermal conductivity of
M. glyptostroboides based three-layer parquet is 0.188, which is the lowest among the 3 kinds of parquet, and its thermal insulation effect is the best. The sound absorption coefficient of
M. glyptostroboides based three-layer parquet under 11 frequency conditions in the range of 0.2–2 kHz is higher than that of the other 2 kinds of parquet under the same frequency condition. Density, moisture content, paint film thickness, etc. all have an impact on the sound absorption coefficient of the parquet.
