Abstract:
Y-tube olfactometer was used to conduct the orientation responses of
Myzus persicae(Sulzer) and its wasp parasitoid
Diaeretiella rapae(M'Intosh) to the main three kinds of volatiles(α-Pinene、β-Myrcene、β-Caryophyllene) of the woody perennial herb Rosemary(
Rosmarinus officinalis, family Lamiaceae). We found that from the different doses tested, volatiles emitted from α-Pinene showed obviously repellent effects onto
Myzus persicae and
Diaeretiella rapae. but obviously attracted by β-Myrcene. β-Caryophyllene had no biological activities to
Myzus persicae, but showed obviously attracted effects onto
Diaeretiella rapae .
