西双版纳热带林植物功能性状与演替及环境因子的关系

Analysis of Plant Functional Traits in Xishuangbanna Tropical Forests with Succession and Their Relationship with Environmental Factors

  • 摘要: 以经历刀耕火种后处于不同演替阶段的西双版纳热带林为对象,通过广义线性模型、RLQ分析和第四角分析方法,探讨演替过程中植物功能性状及其与环境因子的关系。结果表明:次生林与原生林的功能性状分布特征存在显著差异,次生林之间差异不明显;叶片性状从保守策略转变为获取策略,种子重量及木材密度从获取策略转变为保守策略;单一性状与特定环境因子的关联性随演替增强,演替早期的功能性状仅与土壤pH值的关联性强,演替中期和原生林的功能性状则与多个环境因子产生了强关联,其中原生林受土壤全磷的影响最为显著。

     

    Abstract: We investigated the changes of plant functional traits and their relationships with environmental factors during the succession process by using generalized linear model, RLQ analysis and fourth-corner analysis in Xishuangbanna tropical forests at different successional stages after slash-and-burn cultivation. The results showed that there were significant differences in the distribution characteristics of functional traits between secondary and primary forests, while the differences between secondary forests were not significant. Among them, leaf traits changed from a conservative strategy to an acquisition strategy, and seed weight and wood density changed from an acquisition strategy to a conservative strategy. The association of single traits with specific environmental factors increased with succession, functional traits in early succession were strongly associated with soil pH only, while functional traits in middle succession and primary forests were strongly associated with multiple environmental factors, with primary forests being most significantly influenced by total soil phosphorus.
