Abstract:
The main physical and chemical composition of the seed oil extracted from plants of 9 representative populations of Camellia reticulate f. simpex seed oil in Yunnan Province was analyzed. The results showed that the indexes of specific gravity, refractive index, acid value and peroxide value were 0.9032~0.9159 d40/40, 14700~14736n40, 03450~07505 mg/g, 11.9051~336299 meq/kg respectively. Determined by gas chromatography analysis, the seed oil of Camellia reticulate f. simpex was not only rich in unsaturated fatty acids with the content 8211%~8404%, but also rich in calcium, phosphorus, potassium and other mineral elements
