Abstract: This paper synthetically analyzed the present status of the ecological environment and both of the subject and object for ecological compensation of the water source conservation area of Yudong Reservoir, and made a quantitative study of the ecological compensation standard for the concerned parties, and discussed the complimentary policies. This was a beneficial attempt to solve the contradiction between the economical development of the reservoir area and the ecological protection of the water body environment.
