Abstract:
The air quality of the representative park greenspaces in Zhengzhou City in the spring season was assessed by determining the diurnal change process of the air ions in Zhengzhou Forest Park, People's Park and the campus of Henan Agriculture University. Meanwhile, the correlations among the negative air ion and air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and inhalable particulate matter (PM10) were analyzed. The results showed that the daily peak value of the negative air ions in the park greenspaces in the spring appeared at 8:00—9:00 am and 17:00—18:00 pm respectively. While the diurnal minimum value occurred at 14:00—15:00 pm. There was a positive correlation between the quantity of negative air ions and relative air humidity, as well as the wind speed, but there was a negative correlation between the quantity of negative air ions and air temperature or PM10.
