Abstract: The present status of the ecotourism resources and ecotourism development in nature reserves of Guangdong Province was studied by surveying 20 representative nature reserves through field investigation, data collection, typical on the spot observation, informal discussion with local residents and questionnaire plots. The importance and necessity, the advantages and the main problems relevant to developing ecotourism in the nature reserves of Guangdong Province were analyzed. Some specific suggestions were proposed to develop ecotourism in the nature reserves of Guangdong Province based on above discussion.
