Abstract:
Taking semilignified cuttings obtained from 2yearold maternal trees of Malus ‘Hongying’ as experiment materials, the effect of different plant growth regulators including IBA, NAA, and IBA+NAA on the rooting was studied by using uniform orthogonal design L9 34. The results showed that the rooting type of Malus ‘Hongying’ tender cuttings mainly belonged to callus rooting, the treatment by plant growth regulators could significantly increase the rooting rate of the semilignified cuttings. The rooting promotion effect of NAA was better than IBA. The rooting rate reached 70 % when the semilignified cuttings were soaked by 1000 mg/L NAA for 5s.
