Abstract:
The influences of substrate categories for cuttage propagation, types and concentration of plant growth regulator, soaking time duration, and Agrobacterium rhizogenes on the rootings of Quercus mongolica softwood cutting propagation were studied by complete random plot experiment design. The results showed that the mixed substrate of peat soil, vermiculite and pearlite (1∶1∶1) was the best. The better rooting effect was achieved by soaking the softwood cuttings in solution of 500mg/L IBA + 2.0mg/L 6-BA for 2 hours, whose rooting rate reached 1667%. The experiment showed that low concentration of NAA was conducive to rooting of Q. mongolica softwood cuttings, while high concentration of NAA inhibited the rooting. Little effect on rooting was found when ABT1 rooting powder was applied alone or mixed with IBA. 2 hours was the suitable soaking time duration, with 13.33% of rooting rate. Treatment by A.rhizogenes A4 did not have obvious promotion effect on rooting of Q.mongolica softwood cuttings.
