Abstract:
The chemical constituents of Chloranthus elatior plant were analyzed by means of chromatographic techniques and the chemical structure of these components was identified by spectral data and physicochemical properties of the constituents. Six compounds including 2- methoxy-3, 4-methylenedioxybenzaldehyde (Ⅰ), coniferylaldehyde (Ⅱ), epipinoresinol (Ⅲ), 4′,5,7-trimethoxyflavonol (Ⅳ), flavokawain A (Ⅴ), and 5-hydroxy-7,4′-dimethoxyflavanone (Ⅵ) were isolated from the plant species and identified by this study.
