Abstract:
native starch was modified by the oven, microwave, UV and glycerin treatment, and then mould pressing the modified starch and wood flour by crosslinking agent to prepare the composite materials. Starch/wood flour composites were characterized by Xray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), and the mechanical properties and water absorption properties were also tested. The experimental results showed that crystalline structure and grain structure of modified starch had a certain degree of damage. The starches processed by microwave and UV treatment of composite materials had good tensile strength, static music intensity and water resistance.
