塔城地区新疆野苹果林分非空间结构特征与质量评价

Non-spatial structural characteristics and quality evaluation of Malus sieversii stands in the Tacheng region of Xinjiang

  • 摘要: 为明确塔城地区新疆野苹果林种群结构特征及健康质量,在额敏县与托里县野苹果林设置26块样地,测定了林木非空间结构,运用隶属度函数与主成分分析法综合评价林分质量,并通过生活力等级验证评价结果。结果表明:塔城地区新疆野苹果林种群为纯林,密度420.83~795.00株/hm,郁闭度0.54~0.80;平均树高、胸径和冠幅分别为6.85 m、19.27 cm和5.05 m,林分的抚育管理未显著改变林分非空间结构,仅有额敏抚育林的野苹果平均树高有显著增大,龄级结构以中龄级(Ⅲ~Ⅴ级)群体占优,幼龄(Ⅰ~Ⅱ级)、大龄(Ⅵ~Ⅷ级)及特大龄阶(大于Ⅷ级)偏少,呈衰退型。塔城地区新疆野苹果林健康评价的加权综合指数为0.13~0.15(极差),加权和法指数为0.80~0.83(优),中等健康;生活力验证林分群体的1~2级健康株占比55.58%~68.68%,5级枯立木占比6.98%~15.35%,种群存在衰退风险。塔城地区新疆野苹果林目前处于中等健康水平,急需保护。

     

    Abstract: To clarify the population structural characteristics and health quality of Malus sieversii forests in Tacheng region, Xinjiang, 26 sample plots were set up within M. sieversii forests in Emin and Toli counties.Non-spatial structure of the forests were measured ,and the stand quality was comprehensively evaluatrd using membership functions and principal component analysis. The assessment results were validated through viability grading. The results indicated: M.sieversii forests in Tacheng area were pure consists of stands, with densities ranging from 420.83 to 795.00 trees per hectare and canopy closure between 0.54 and 0.80; the average tree height, diameter at breast height (DBH), and crowns widths were 6.85 m, 19.27 cm, and 5.05 m respectively. The conservation management of the stand did not significantly change the non-spatial structure, only the average tree height of M.sieversii increased significantly in Emin Conservation forests. The age-class structure was dominated by the middle-aged (III-V) group, with fewer young (I-II), old (VI-VIII), and extra-large (greater than VIII) groups, which exhibited a declining pattern. The weighted composite index for the health evaluation of M.sieversii forests in Tacheng region ranged from 0.13 to 0.15 (extremely poor), while the weighted sum method index ranged from 0.80 to 0.83 (excellent), indicating moderately healthy; within the vitality verification stand groups, the grade 1~2 healthy plants accounted for 55.58%~68.68%, while the grade 5 dead wood constituted 6.98%~15.35%, and the population exhibited a risk of decline. In summary the M.sieversii forests of the Tacheng area currently exhibite moderate levels of health, and require urgent conservation measures.
